FATIMA 2 Days – Best of Fatima Highlights for Catholics – With Overnight

This special private tour service will have a duration of 2 full days, covering the best highlights of Fatima and surrouding areas and a complete religious experience. Although the itinerary can have minor adjustments, here is the suggested route/itinerary:

• DAY 1 – Transfer From Lisbon to Fatima and Full-Day Tour
• 8h30AM – Pick-up at your hotel in Lisbon (flexible time if requested)
• Travel with A/C vehicle driving towards Fatima from Lisbon, about 80 miles north from Lisbon (1h20 drive)
• Free time to visit the Fatima Sanctuary and attend mass (1h30m) – Extra time at Sanctuary is possible
• Visit to the Chapel of the Apparitions, where Our Lady appeared to the three children in 1917
• Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, where the tombs of the Children, Saint Jacinta, Saint Francisco and Lucia are buried
• Visit to the Most Holy Trinity Basilica, considered the 4th biggest catholic church in the world
• Stop for Lunch in Fatima
• Optional Visit to the religious artifacts factory, located near the Sanctuary
• Visit to the place where the three little children were born and where they have lived during the apparitions, in Aljustrel/Valinhos, 10min away from Fatima. In May 2017, the children of Fatima, Francisco and Jacinta have been canonized as Saints by Pope Francis. Visit to their houses.
• Optional Visit to the Via Sacra, the route of 15 Stations that the children used to walk 100 years ago to visit the appartions site.
• Return to hotel in Fatima for refresh and dinner
• 9h30PM – Evening/Night Rosary inside the chappel of the Apparitions
• 10h15PM – Candle Procession at Night on the Sanctuary (Optional, not available everyday – Between May and November only)
• Return to hotel in Fatima after the evening Rosary/Candle Procession when applicable

• Visit the church where the children were baptized 100 years ago
• Departure to the Sanctuary of Nazare, famous for the main church and the carved-wood image of Our Lady.
• Visit the Lighthouse of Nazare, nearby the church
• Stop for Lunch in Nazare
• Head to the Medieval Village of Obidod, and stop for visit (1h)
• Drop-off at your Lisbon Hotel and end of services
