This special private tour service will have a duration of 3 days, covering some of the most Jewish historical places in Portugal, such as Tomar, Castelo Branco, Belmonte, Trancoso, Evora, Marvao and Vilar Formoso. Although the itinerary can have minor adjustments, here is the suggested route/itinerary:

• DAY 1 – Lisbon -> Evora -> Marvão Toll Bridge -> Castelo de Vide -> Belmonte (7h/8h)

Private Tour of Evora + castelo de Vide and finishing in Belmonte. All historical visits and Jewish Heritage as well.
Highlights: Evora Roman Temple, Old Inquisition Court House, and Old Jewish Quarter, Catelelo de Vide Old Jewish Quarter, Medieval Synagogue/Museum and the famous Village Fountain, Marvao Toll Bridge, the place that has worked to collect the entrance tax of the Jews expelled from Spain in 1492. • DAY 2 – Belmonte -> Trancoso -> Vilar Formoso -> Belmonte (7h/8h)

Highlights: Belmonte Old Jewish Quarter, Jewish Museum and Synagogue Bet Eliahu, Trancoso Old Jewish Quarter and Isaac Cardoso Jewish Cultural Centre, followed by a visit to Vilar Formoso (Memorial to the Refugees – A tribute to the refugees of Second World War). (Overnight in Belmonte)

We work with a recent fleet of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, that are operating every day for your comfort. In case of need, we have other vehicles or different brands/models, including larger vehicles on request for larger families.

– We know plans can change and we accept changes to the original booking for another day, if we have availability, without any extra charge.
– In case the trip needs to be canceled/postponed/rescheduled, the customer will be able to use the FULL amount paid, which will be available as:
1) Full Refund, back into the same card used to book the tour;
2) Full amounts paid, to be used as a future credit, to be used within 10 years’ time with our company, for any tours booked.

* No show: no restitution / payment in full
* Tickets for Events or Attractions are non-refundable

* Hotel reservations are fully refundable according to hotel policies.
* Cruise ship tours are 100% refundable anytime if for any reason cruise ship doesn’t dock in Lisbon.
* In case you are unable to travel for medical reasons, last-minute flight cancellations, delays, all amounts are refundable at any moment.
