2 Day Trip From Lisbon: Porto and Douro Valley Private Tour

This special private tour service will have a duration of 2 days, covering the oldest wine region in the world, Douro Valley, and also Porto, one of the most beautiful cities on Europe, second largest in Portugal. Although the itinerary can have minor adjustments, here is the suggested route/itinerary:

• DAY 1 – Transfer from Lisbon to Porto and Afternoon Tour of Porto

This special private tour will start from Lisbon, from your hotel in the morning period 9AM and head north of the country to the famous city of Porto (around 3h drive). After arrival, drop your luggage at the hotel and head to downtown and stop for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit the famous wine cellars of Porto/Gaia, close to the river and enjoy a wine cellar visit and wine tasting and one of the best wineries. Visit downtown area including the area of D. Luis Bridge, Porto Cathedral, Lello Library (one of the most famous in the world, where J.K.ROWLING inspired Harry Potter, Clerigos Tower and much more. Drop-off at your hotel in Porto and overnight in Porto.

• DAY 2 – Morning visit to Douro Valley – Peso da Regua and return to Lisbon in the afternoon

Depart from Porto to the countryside, to Douro Valley, the oldest wine region in the world. Arrive at Peso da Regua and sightseeing visit along the morning, with it’s beautiful landscape. Stop for lunch near the river. In the afternoon period, return to Lisbon, for drop-off at your hotel arond 5PM

* Times on each stop may vary, depending on group pace and preferences, since this tour is totally private, some stops may be skipped according to customer preferences.
* Admission fees and lunch/dinner/meals/accommodation are not included, and should be booked/paid separately.

We work with a recent fleet of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, that are operating everyday for your comfort. In case of need, we have other vehicles or different brands/models, including larger minibus and big bus as well (on request). Please note that we can never guarantee any vehicle brand, type or model for any tours.

CANCELLATION POLICY (Updated)
* We have a flexible worry-free cancellation policy for your comfort – BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE:
– We know plans can change and we accept changes to the original booking for another day, if we have availability, without any extra charge.
– Any services can be canceled up to 20 days prior trip start.
– Any amounts paid can be used as credit for future use, to reschedule/postpone your trip up to 5 years time.
– No extra fees are required to change/reschedule any trip booked.

* Cancellations are available up to 20 days prior to the tour starting.
* Cancellation less than 20 days before tour date: not available
* No show: no restitution / payment in full
* Tickets for Events or Attractions are non-refundable
* Hotel reservations are not refundable unless specified.
* Our Guarantee: no amounts will be lost in case of cancellation/postpone, as long as rescheduled for another period.

* This is a special private tour service and prepared for 2 total days, from 9AM to 5PM (around 8h) each day, although, if you have shorter time, we can fit it to your needs
* This special tour service will be provided with a minivan (Mercedes Benz), or Luxury Sedan when not available up to 2 guests. More than 2 guests will always be provided a minivan for better comfort. Vehicle type, size, brand or color can never be guaranteed on our tours.
* This service requires a minimum of 2 participants to operate.
