4 Days From Lisbon to Belmonte and Porto Private Tour

This special private tour service will have a duration of 4 days, covering some of the most Jewish historical places in Portugal, such as Tomar, Castelo Branco, Belmonte, Trancoso, Porto, Aveiro and Vilar Formoso. Although the itinerary can have minor adjustments, here is the suggested route/itinerary:

• DAY 1 – Lisbon -> Tomar -> Castelo Branco -> Belmonte (7h/8h)

Private Tour of Tomar + Castelo Branco and finishing in Belmonte. All historical visits and Jewish Heritage as well.
Highlights: Tomar Old Jewish Quarter and Synagogue/Museum Abraham Zacuto, Castelo Branco Jewish Museum and Old Jewish Quarter. (Overnight in Belmonte)

• DAY 2 – Belmonte -> Trancoso -> Vilar Formoso -> Belmonte (7h/8h)

Private Tour of Belmonte, followed by visits to Trancoso and Vilar Formoso.
Highlights: Belmonte Old Jewish Quarter and Synagogue Bet Eliahu, Trancoso Old Jewish Quarter and Isaac Cardoso Jewish Cultural Centre, followed by a visit to Vilar Formoso – Memorial to the Refugees – A tribute to the refugees of Second World War. (Overnight in Belmonte)

• DAY 3 – Belmonte -> Porto (7h/8h)

Private Tour of Porto in the afternoon, including Old Jewish Quarter of Olival and best highligths of the city.
Highlights: Downtown area, Old Jewish Quarter of Olival, Lello Bookshop, Clerigos Tower, Aliados Square, San Bento Train Station, 13th century Cathedral and Ribeira the famous river front district. (Overnight in Porto)

• DAY 4 – Porto -> Aveiro -> Lisbon (7h/8h)

Morning Private Tour of Porto, including visit to Foz do Douro, Boavista and Kadoorie Synagogue (when available – visits will end soon, only possible to new museum opening in April).
Highlights: Foz do Douro (coast), Boavista, Kadoorie Synagogue (when available), visit Aveiro highlights and the famous canals. Transfer to Lisbon. (end of services)

We work with a recent fleet of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, that are operating every day for your comfort. In case of need, we have other vehicles or different brands/models, including larger vehicles on request for larger families.

– We know plans can change and we accept changes to the original booking for another day, if we have availability, without any extra charge.
– In case the trip needs to be canceled/postponed/rescheduled, the customer will be able to use the FULL amount paid, which will be available as:
1) Full Refund, back into the same card used to book the tour;
2) Full amounts paid, to be used as a future credit, to be used within 10 years’ time with our company, for any tours booked.

* Tickets for Events or Attractions are non-refundable

* Hotel reservations are fully refundable according to hotel policies.
* Cruise ship tours are 100% refundable anytime if for any reason cruise ship doesn’t dock in Lisbon.
* In case you are unable to travel for medical reasons, last-minute flight cancellations, delays, all amounts are refundable at any moment.
