BEST of Lisbon City Half-Day Private Tour

The Best of Lisbon Private Tour, on this half-day option, will show you some of the major sights in the city for around 3h duration. This tour can be provided in the morning or afternoon period, starting anytime from 7AM to 4PM. Although the itinerary can be adjusted during the day, this would be the standard itinerary:

• Start the tour from your hotel, and select between Belem area (Option 1) or the Old Town of Lisbon (Option 2)
• OPTION 1) In case you choose visit Belem (Option 1), learn the history behind the navigators, the famous Belem Tower, the Jeronimo’s Monastery and the Discovery Monument
• Overview the magnificence of this area, built more than 500 years ago.
• Cross around Praça do Imperio, the major square of Belem
• Sample the local custard tart, famous all over the world, produced here locally
• Admire the beautiful views overlooking the Tejo River, the 25th April Bridge and the Christ Statue. If time allows, make a quick visit.
• Return to your hotel and finish the tour.
• OPTION 2) In case you choose the Option 2, the Old Town of Lisbon/Alfama/Baixa, Head to Lisbon Downtown and visit Rossio, considered one of the major squares in the country.
• Close to Rossio square, learn the history behind the Jewish communities in Portugal, with the Jewish Memorial and St Domingos Church.
• Admire the views overlooking Lisbon Downtown, and stop at the Santa Justa Elevador and Rua Augusta, the famous walking road of Lisbon.
• Explore Alfama, the old Cathedral of Lisbon, and the famous Jewish Quarter of Alfama.
