Evora / Monsaraz Private Day Tour From Lisbon (Alentejo)

The Evora / Monsaraz Private Day Tour From Lisbon (Alentejo) will show you one of most beautiful regions of Portugal, located in Alentejo, the famous region of Portugal where are produced some of the best wines. With the help of our private tour guide, we will show you most of the major sights of the area for around 9h duration. Although the itinerary can be adjusted during the day, this is the standard itinerary:

• Start the tour at 9AM and head Evora (approx 1h30m drive)
• Arrive in Evora around 10h30AM and start with a visit to the Roman Temple of Diana, one of Evora’s most famous attractions
• Continue the visit to the Evora Cathedral, nearby the Roman Temple, built 1000 years ago
• Follow to the central area of Evora, passing by the famous cork shops.
• Visit to the main square of Evora, Giraldo Square.
• Quick visit to the Chapel of Bones and St. Francisco Church
• Head to Monsaraz, where you will make a stop for lunch.
• After lunch, visit the village of Monsaraz and it’s famous Castle, admiring the views of Alqueva, the biggest lake in Europe built by man.
• Sao Pedro Corval local pottery visit (handmade).
• End of tour around 6PM.

During the day we will pass by different attractions and stop for pictures. Major visits inside attractions are not included on this tour, instead we will make shorter visits inside to maximize your time and see the most sights possible.

• Pick-up time is scheduled for 8h30AM, although this can be changed per request
• Flexible start and end time for cruise ship passengers and airport pick-ups, please advise before booking.

• Pick-up and drop-off can be provided at any Lisbon Hotel, Sintra or Cascais, including also cruise ship terminal and Lisbon Airport. This can be added during your booking (complimentary)
• Drop-off is scheduled between around 5PM, although it can be changed if you need to get back earlier – please advise before booking.

This tour includes a dedicated Private Guide to assist you during the day.
Our private guide will be your Ambassador/Host during the day, and English Fluent.
The guide will assist you during the day, providing all explanations, helping to choose restaurants for lunch, and other important tips, etc

This tour includes Private Transportation, exclusively for you.
We work with a recent fleet of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, that are operating every day for your comfort. In case of need, we have other vehicles or different brands/models, including larger vehicles on request for larger families.
