This is a special private tour service for duration approx 10h total (including driving time and transfers), visiting the city of Porto in one day, considered the second most important citry of Portugal, after Lisbon, the capital. We will cover the most important highlights of the city in one day, such as downtown area (Riverfront area, Cathedral, Sao Bento Train Station, Bulhao Market, Santa Catarina, Lello Library, Clerigos Tower, Jewish Quarter, and much more, including also a stop for lunch and a visit to Foz of Porto area, including Passeio Alegre, Boavista, Casa da Musica and much more. Itinerary
This special private tour service will have a duration of approx 10h total, covering the old historical city of Porto, second most important city in Portugal. Although the itinerary can have minor adjustments, here is the suggested route/itinerary:
- Departure available from your hotel at 8h00AM.
- Start with a visit of the Jewish Quarter of Porto
- Stops at Clerigos Tower and Lello Library
- Visit to Bulhao Market and Santa Catarina famous district
- Visit the most famous train station in Portugal, Sao Bento, famous for the 20.000 tiles
- Visit Cathedral of Porto
- Stop for lunch at local restaurant (meals not included)
- Explore all riverfront area, including Passeio Alegre and Porto Foz
- Visit boavista area, and stops at casa da Musica and Serralves
- Pass by Kadoorie Synagogue of Porto (exterior only))
- End the tour with optional visit to Taylor’s Port Winery (not included, subject to availability)
