Catholic Private Tour of Lisbon – Best Highlights (Full-Day 7h)

The Catholic Private Tour of Lisbon, on the full-day option, will show you the most important places in the city of Lisbon, on a Catholic Perspective, allowing time for mass when applicable, for around 7h total duration. Although the itinerary can be adjusted during the day, this is the standard itinerary:

• Start the tour and head to Belem, in Lisbon west part.
• Sightseeing around Belem, famous for the Belem Tower, Jeronimo’s Monastery and Discovery Monument
• Visit to the Jeronimo’s Monastery (Church)
• Stop at Pasteis de Belem, the most famous pastry shop in the country, known for it’s original custard tarts.
• Admire the beautiful views overlooking the Tejo River, the 25th April Bridge and the Christ Statue
• Head to Lisbon Downtown and stop for lunch.
• Visit Rossio square, one of the most famous squares in Portugal, and learn the history behind the Jewish communities in Portugal, with the Jewish Memorial and St Domingos Church.

• Admire the views overlooking Lisbon Downtown, and stop at the Santa Justa Elevador and Rua Augusta, the famous walking road of Lisbon.
• Visit walking the Commerce Square, known for hosting the former Royal Palace before the big earthquake of 1755.
• Continue the tour walking to Alfama, the old quarter of Lisbon, famous for the Lisbon Castle, The Lisbon Cathedral, and it’s narrow streets.
• Visit the Lisbon Cathedral, built in 1147, 900 years ago.
• Visit the Born House and Church of Saint Antonio of Padua, a Portuguese Saint Born in Lisbon in 1195, one of the most famous Saints of the Catholic Church in the world.
• If time allows, stop at Chiado for a quick visit, including a stop at the Sao Pedro Alcantara Viewpoint, overlooking the city, or as alternative, a stop at Parque Eduardo VII viewpoint instead.
• End the tour.

During the day we will pass by different attractions and stop for pictures. Major visits inside attractions are not included on this tour, instead we will make shorter visits inside to maximize your time and see the most sights possible.

• Pick-up and drop-off can be provided at any Hotel or Accommodation in Lisbon, Sintra or Cascais, including also cruise ship terminal and Lisbon Airport, and included on price.
• Pick-up time is scheduled for 9AM, although this can be changed per request
• Flexible start and end time for cruise ship passengers and airport pick-ups, please advise before booking.

• Pick-up and drop-off can be provided at any Hotel or Accommodation in Lisbon, Sintra or Cascais, including also cruise ship terminal and Lisbon Airport, and included on price.
• Drop-off is scheduled between around 5PM, although it can be changed if you need to get back earlier – please advise before booking.

This tour includes a dedicated Private Guide to assist you during the day.
Our private guide will be your Ambassador/Host during the day, and English Fluent.
The guide will assist you during the day, providing all explanations, helping to choose restaurants for lunch, and other important tips, etc

This tour includes Private Transportation, exclusively for you.
We work with a recent fleet of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, that are operating every day for your comfort. In case of need, we have other vehicles or different brands/models, including larger vehicles on request for larger families.

CANCELLATION POLICY
* We have a flexible worry-free cancellation policy for your comfort – BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE:
– We know plans can change and we accept changes to the original booking for another day, if we have availability, without any extra charge.
– In case the trip needs to be canceled/postponed/rescheduled, the customer will be able to use the FULL amount paid, which will be available as:
1) Full Refund, back into the same card used to book the tour;
2) Full amounts paid, to be used as a future credit, to be used within 10 years’ time with our company, for any tours booked.

* No show: no restitution / payment in full
* Tickets for Events or Attractions are non-refundable

* Hotel reservations are fully refundable according to hotel policies.
* Cruise ship tours are 100% refundable anytime if for any reason cruise ship doesn’t dock in Lisbon.
* In case you are unable to travel for medical reasons, last-minute flight cancellations, delays, all amounts are refundable at any moment.
