Starting from Lisbon, Sintra or Cascais, this is the best tour to combine both highlights of Sintra and Fatima in one single day. Although we usually recommend separate days for each location, for guests with limited availability, we have put together an itinerary that combines both the beauty and highlights of Sintra in the morning and the best highlights of Fatima in the afternoon, for a total duration of approximately 8h. On this tour, discover why Sintra is one of the most romantic villages in the World and why is considered as Unesco World Heritage since 1995.
You will have the opportunity to visit the old medieval village of Sintra in the morning period, located 30min from Lisbon, exploring the area and taste a local pastry from the famous gastronomy.
After Sintra, head to Fatima (1h45m drive), and visit the houses of the children, followed by a stop for lunch. After lunch, visit the famous shrine/Sanctuary, where our lady appeared to the children in 1917. Free time for mass in Fatima at 3h30PM, and finish back in Lisbon, Sintra or Cascais after mass finish (1h30 drive).
